So 52 people voted in the undies poll on the right. Wow! That's my best poll numbers yet! Polls about undies must be the blog-equivalent of a Presidential election - brings out all the voters.
Anyway, of those 52 voters, 46% (24) fold their clean undies and place them neatly in their undie drawer. Just slightly fewer, 42% (22) , toss 'em in the drawer without folding. A mere 11% (6) get dressed straight from the laundry basket (or, I suspect, the dryer). I have had times where the clothes never got put away and I just dressed from the dryer or a laundry basket. These days I try to keep up with the laundry better, since there are 4 of us to keep clothed. Plus I don't work in an office where the dry cleaner picks up the dirty clothes from bags in the front closet and brings them back the next day all cleaned and pressed. I miss those days. Sob!
So, apparently readers of this blog are almost evenly divided between OCD neatniks who fold their underwear and normal people who just toss them in the drawer and hope for the best. (It's not at all obvious into which group I fall, is it?) Good to know.

I had no idea so many pple folded their undies! And I consider myself a total OCD neatfreak. LOL
I guess I'm over the top OCD because I not only fold, I put them away in a color coded manner from lightest to darkest for solid colors and then the few patterned ones go at the end of the drawer. Socks on the other hand, once folded, just get tossed in the drawer.

With the tornado thing, it is obvious the person talking about God sparing his son's house is one of those that looks at God as a being something like a bad grandparent, the kind that gives the favorite kids everything and the disfavored kids nothing. I prefer to think God is a bit more oriented toward thinking globally than that. But that's just me.
Umm. . . you didn't give an option for 'My wife neatly folds my undies and puts them away'. . . (sorry)
And my beloved wife is far, far from an OCD neatnik. . .
I recall years ago, when Pat Robertson made a big deal of praying for a hurricane to miss Virginia; which it then did. And hit Long Island and Connecticut instead. . . So, sometimes I just wish folks would think things thru before they talk to a TV camera. . .
But even so, is it fair for me to be grateful to God for sparing my house, and still offer my help and support to my neighbor? Who knows why one house was spared and another hit? It's pretty certain that it isn't because God loves the one guy and hates the other. . .
I fold mine. I always forget to take the damn polls. One day, I will remember and do one.
I didn't get to vote but I'll tell you that I am a tosser. I do fold the tops of matched socks together so that I don't have to try and match them up in the morning when both eyeballs are in 1 socket
Hmmm - maybe this person needs to read the book of Job.
That is exactly the problem with religion - the disconnect between reality and belief. Like both teams at the Super Bowl bring in their favorite minister to lead the team in prayer before the game. So the team that won has a better connection to God than the team that lost?
Aw man, I didn't take the poll!! I don't fold mine myself :)

It's been my experience...and a deep belief...tornados have a mind of their own. Living as close the lake as I do, we rarely get one to touch down..they hit the bluff and bounce deeper inland.
Hopes and prayers to those that lost, hopes and prayers to those that didn't.
I thought I was all special folding my undies. Guess not, huh?
I SO get what you're talking about the Lord protecting one dude's house and then completely destroying another. What's up with that? People don't even think how that comes across. I don't get it. In the church where I grew up some would say the house that got blown away...there was sin among the residents. I just can't wrap my thinking around that. CRAZY!!
Hey Bunny...
We had sirens going all night....G
Lets see. There is famine in this country, and the team is at 4th and 1 yard to go for the touchdown and all the players are praying. What do you think God is going to do?
Yeah, I think God takes a pretty global view on things to. I know God can pick and choose any house to spare and any house to destroy that he wants to, but I just can't imagine the he does that to spare houses of the ones he loves (and are on vacation) and goes after the ones he doesn't love so much.
