Divine!! Seeing as it's just me, myself and I, it's a small turkey, stuffing, a little sweet potato, a bun or two and some whipped cream fruit salad. It'll be more than enough. Hope it's relatively uneventful!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646772639494369714.post-79551223444219395272007-11-20T20:40:00.000-05:002007-11-20T20:40:00.000-05:00And you COOK too???? For dessert we're having pumpkin pie and apple pie. I offered to bring pie but was, as usual, turned down. Turns out Mom is buying pies this year instead of making them. Hmpf, she coulda paid me if she wanted to for making them. {rolls eyes} I know she means well and is just trying to make things easier on everyone. However, one would think that since she knows I love to bake she could let me bring pies for Thanksgiving. Sigh. . . Sorry, didn't mean to rain on your blog here. Or rant either.Trueselfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04376379968984585345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646772639494369714.post-3993359788515744512007-11-20T14:19:00.000-05:002007-11-20T14:19:00.000-05:00Sounds nice. You're correct on the Red being appropo.

I've given up on the idea of making a cohesive One-Troll-In-Charge Thanksgiving Dinner for my clan.

So, we're clubbing it this year to avoid the bloody brawls we've experienced the last 10 Thanksgivings.

My BEST Thanksgiving Dinner was a "just-the-two-of-us" reasonably precise recreation of what the pilgrims actually ate.hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04341805107057968097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646772639494369714.post-46328112637567872912007-11-20T13:20:00.000-05:002007-11-20T13:20:00.000-05:00Sounds delish. This is partly because my mother never made anything homemade so it's what we grew up with, and partly because I strangely like the stuff.

I'd definitely go with a red, probably the Pinot over the Shiraz, but Merlot's my fave.sandy shoeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05617376664356510015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646772639494369714.post-25881085696531535562007-11-20T12:59:00.000-05:002007-11-20T12:59:00.000-05:00Yum, all of it.What is shoepeg corn?Yum, all of it.

What is shoepeg corn?sandy shoeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05617376664356510015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646772639494369714.post-57482640349454762102007-11-20T11:07:00.000-05:002007-11-20T11:07:00.000-05:00Never heared about cranberries butter... sounds go...Never heared about cranberries butter... sounds good...;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
